Whether it's your boss, your dean, a City Councillor, or the Prime Minister, influencing decision-makers in your community can seem impossible. But they are people just like you, and with the right mix of persuasion and pressure, they are often more persuadable than you might think. This session will run you through practical tips and tricks on how to meet with decision-makers and get them on your side-- or at least get something out of them. Based on real-world examples of successful student advocacy, these strategies can help you succeed as an advocate for your community.
